St. Francis Home is currently looking for STNAs, RNs and LPNs.

St. Francis Home, Inc., a subsidiary of St. Francis Senior Ministries, Inc., is seeking an experienced Human Resource Professional who will be responsible for leading our Human Resources Department with its mission of providing policies, programs, and support services to the Organization. St. Francis Senior Ministries, Inc. is a nursing, assisted living and independent living services on the campus of the Sisters of St. Francis in Tiffin, Ohio.  This position reports to the Executive Director.

This position is responsible for:

Main Responsibility- Recruitment, Retention and Turnover efforts.

In addition:

Assuring the organization is in compliance with all Federal and State employment laws to include but not limited to FLSA, COBRA, EECO, FMLA, The ADEA, State Workers’ Compensation Law, and State Unemployment Insurance Law.

Assists with the organization’s safety program and is a member of the safety committee.

Responsible for recruiting and screening potential new hires.

Assures all current employees meet the requirements set by the Ohio Department of Health regarding proper licensure and certifications.

Assist the staff development department with developing and presenting educational and training programs pertaining to leadership and staff development.

Develops and recommends new wage and benefit structures commensurate with industry standards to management.

Responsible for administration of 401 (k) pension plans and maintaining plan compliance with Federal Regulations.

Assists with development of annual budget.

Maintains and recommends new policies for the employee hand book.

Assists managers and supervisors with progressive corrective action process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

Computer skills to include good working knowledge with Microsoft Office

Five years’ experience in the Human Resources management area
