Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments


Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments is senior apartment living at its best for individuals at least 62 years of age. Residents experience independent living with an added sense of security and peace of mind in a faith-based environment.

Basic services and amenities are included in a monthly rental fee. The fee is based on the size of the apartment and number of occupants. In addition, there is a non-refundable entrance fee.

Comfort

The Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments building was opened in 1980.  The two-story brick building features 31 spacious apartments, ranging in size from 650- to 997-square feet.  Ample common space includes a lounge and dining room, laundry, library, wide hallways and generous storage space.

  • A choice of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments
  • Wall-to-wall carpeting and vinyl floor covering
  • Individually controlled heat and air conditioning
  • Major appliances provided
  • Optional noon meal available Monday through Friday, except holidays
  • 24-hour emergency health call system
  • Lounge/dining room on first floor
  • Library
  • Meditation room
  • Laundry room
  • Controlled access to apartment building
  • Optional garage parking and reserved parking spaces
  • Beautiful grounds for walking and enjoying nature

Security

The entrance doors to Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments are locked.  A telephone and phone book in each lobby enable visitors to call an apartment to notify a resident of their arrival.

Peace of Mind

The St. Francis Senior Ministries offers a continuum of care that includes independent living, assisted living, intermediate and skilled care nursing and dementia care services.

Residents of Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments have priority admittance to St. Francis Home if assisted living, rehabilitation services or nursing care is required. The St. Francis campus meets our residents’ lifestyle and healthcare needs, today and tomorrow.
