Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities to volunteer at St. Francis Senior Ministries. Volunteers are vital in helping fulfill our mission to provide life-enhancing care. As a volunteer with our residents, on our Board of Trustees, various committees, and St. Francis Home Auxiliary your time, dedication, compassion and enthusiasm helps our residents live deeper, richer lives. Volunteers work with our employees to maintain the warmth and friendliness for which St. Francis Senior Ministries is well-known. Some of the activities may include musical events, trips and outings, spiritual events, cooking groups and guided strolls on campus. What does it take to be a volunteer for St. Francis Senior Ministries?

St. Francis Senior Ministries Recognizes Volunteers
On Thursday June 20th, St. Francis Senior Ministries held their annual volunteer recognition banquet in the multi-purpose room at St. Francis Home. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Volunteers Rock”. All were treated to a delicious luncheon and were recognized for their volunteer service hours. Executive Director Gabe Stoll welcomed the volunteers and thanked them for their dedication and care for the residents of St. Francis Home. Sr. Janet Hay gave a presentation of the history of the St. Francis campus and reflected on the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of St. Francis in Tiffin.
Darlene Bloom presented them with awards for the number of hours they volunteered. There was approximately 4360 total volunteer hours provided at St. Francis Senior Ministries during the past year. The following people were recognized:

500 Hours – Pete Hartzell, Sr. Marcella Herman
